Sports Information

Tallahassee Community College prides itself on being media-friendly and hopes to make your job as easy as possible while covering TCC Athletics. The TCC Athletic Department and its Sports Information Staff will do its part to accommodate as many requests as possible.  Thank you for covering TCC Athletics!

Facilities

Tallahassee Community College has some of the finest facilities in the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA). Basketball games are played inside the Bill Hebrock Eagledome, located on the west side of campus; baseball games take place at Eagle Field, located at the corner of Progress Drive and Century Park Circle on the west side of campus; and softball games are held at the TCC Softball Complex, located on Century Park Circle on the west side of campus.

Spectators can access all athletic facilities from either U. S. Highway 90 (Tennessee Street) via Pat Thomas Drive or State Highway 20 (Pensacola Street) via Progress Drive.

Parking

Parking is available adjacent to all athletic facilities. Additionally, parking is available for baseball and softball along Century Park Circle and Progress Drive. Parking passes can be requested by contacting the TCC Athletic Department.

Covering the Game

During games, a limited number of seats are available, by request, in areas designated for working media. Members of the media may also sit in any available seats at the athletic venues.

TCC's Sports Information Staff compiles stats and will distribute them to the media at the earliest possible moment following each athletic event.

Interviews

On game days, TCC coaches and players are available to the media following the team's post-game meeting. Members of the media should see Chuck Moore, director of athletics, for interview requests.

Media wishing to speak to coaches and players before the game should request an interview a minimum of one day prior to the game. TCC coaches and players reserve the right to decline pre-game interviews.

Unless noted otherwise, all practices are considered open and members of the media are invited. Practice times vary from day to day. To confirm practice times and availability of players and coaches, members of the media wishing to attend practice should contact Chuck Moore, director of athletics, at (850) 201-6085 or e-mail chuck.moore@tcc.fl.edu

With advance notice and proper planning, TCC can accommodate most multimedia broadcast efforts for visiting teams. To ensure that everything is set up ahead of time, please contact director of athletics Chuck Moore at (850) 201-6085, at least 24 hours prior to the game.
