Twenty student-athletes earn summer academic accolades at TCC

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (August 24, 2016) - During the recently completed Summer 2016 semester at Tallahassee Community College, a total of 20 student-athletes earned honors recognition for their work in the classroom.

The following student-athletes were named to the President's List (4.0 GPA): Brooke Bates, softball; Kiair Crouch, men's basketball; Niari Woodfolk, student trainer.

The following student-athletes were named to the Dean's List (3.5-3.99 GPA): Destiny Glass, student trainer; Kenny Lewis, men's basketball; Josh Nothdorft, baseball; Shaigna Wentz, women's basketball.

The following student-athletes were named to the Honor's List (3.0-3.49 GPA): Madisen Blair, softball; Emani Clough, women's basketball; Elvis Harvey, men's basketball; Craig Olson, baseball; Jaylene Pryor, softball; David Simmons, men's basketball; Eboni Watts, women's basketball.

The following student-athletes received Presidential Merit Recognition (students who are in developmental courses and complete a minimum of six hours with a 4.0 GPA): Jeremy Hayes, men's basketball; Bamba Jaye, men's basketball.

The following student-athletes received Merit Recognition (students who are in developmental courses and complete a minimum of six hours with a 3.0-3.99 GPA): Leon Daniels, men's basketball; Jas Hill, women's basketball; Alycia Smith, softball; Will Washington, men's basketball.
