TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (October 25, 2019) – Sophomore Genevieve Printiss finished third in the women's 5K and freshman Asia Charlton's finish clinched a team score for Tallahassee Community College at Friday's NJCAA Region 8/FCSAA Cross Country Championships at Apalachee Regional Park.

Printiss ran a 20:27.0, good for third place in the field of 58 runners. It also earned her FCSAA All-State honors, which were awarded to the top five finishers.

Charlton, meanwhile, completed her first career 5K in 47:12.4 and when she did, it delivered a team score for the Eagles, who jumped Chipola College and Florida Gateway College to finish in fifth in the team standings.

Sophomore Kendall Ward took home a 12th-place finish in a time of 21:47. Freshmen Arionne McCall, who PRd with a time of (30:14) and Olivia Vigille (32:55) finished 34th and 39th, respectively.

In the men's 8K, a foot injury knocked out freshman Daniel Randolph a little more than one-third of the way into the race. Randolph had been the team's top finisher in each race this season.

With Randolph sidelined, sophomore Dalton Gray stepped up and took top honors for the Eagles, running a 31:40 to finish 26th. All five Tallahassee runners who crossed the finish line did so within eight spots of each other.

Rodolph Adonis (31:57) led a quartet of freshmen in 28th, followed by Austin Erbaio (32:39) in 30th, Keshawn Nelson (32:56) in 31st and Jaywaun Nubin (34:24) in 33rd

Erbaio and Nubin posted personal records.
