#TCCBasketball hosts Courtyard Classic November 21-23

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (November 18, 2019) – Tallahassee Community College's men's and women's basketball teams will host the Courtyard Downtown/Capitol Classic on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, November 21, 22 and 23. 

All games will take place inside the Bill Hebrock Eagledome. General admission will be $5 daily. Games are free for children 12 and under as well as TCC students, faculty and staff with a valid TCC ID. 

"This is an exciting opportunity to host of the best NJCAA teams in the country," said Tallahassee women's head coach Matt Huddleston. "The opportunity to show off our facility and test ourselves in front of the home crowd is something we look forward to." 

For Huddleston's 5-1 Eagles, it marks their final home games until the Panhandle Conference opener on Saturday, January 4. 

The Classic tips off at 7:30 p.m. Thursday with women's action between Tallahassee and the College of Central Florida. 

Four games dot the schedule on Friday, beginning at 1 p.m. with women's action between Central Florida and Northwest Florida State College. The 3 p.m. men's game features Eastern Florida State College and Georgia Highlands College. 

The evening session features a Tallahassee doubleheader beginning at 5:30 p.m. when the Eagle women host Snow (Utah) College. Men's action is scheduled for a 7:30 p.m. tip against Southern Crescent (Ga.) Technical College. 

The event wraps up with three games on Saturday beginning at noon when Snow faces Northwest Florida State College in women's action. Southern Crescent and Eastern Florida State College will play a 2 p.m. men's game followed by the Eagle men hosting Georgia Highlands at 4 p.m. 

The Classic begins a crucial stretch of five games in six days for the Eagle men, who will have Sunday off before games in Pensacola, Fla., next Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday as part of the Pirate Thanksgiving Classic.
