Thirty-six student-athletes earn spring academic accolades at TCC

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (June 16, 2016) - During the recently completed Spring 2016 semester at Tallahassee Community College, a total of 36 student-athletes earned honors recognition for their work in the classroom. 

The following student-athletes were named to the President’s List (4.0 GPA): Madisen Blair, softball; Elisa Cecchetti, softball; Grayson Elmer, student manager, women’s basketball; Kiara Johnson, softball; Octavio Marin, baseball; Alyssa NeSmith, softball. 

The following student-athletes were named to the Dean's List (3.5-3.99 GPA): Brooke Bates, softball; Alexandra Cook, softball; Casey Durham, softball; Ryan Johnson, men’s basketball; Nick Marchese, baseball; Raya Moncus, softball; Rion Murrah, baseball; Craig Olson, baseball; DamiAnn Prehay, men’s Basketball; Tyler Kinard, baseball. 

The following student-athletes were named to the Honor’s List (3.0-3.49 GPA): Brooks Buckler, baseball; Deion Bute, men’s basketball; Kyle Cavanaugh, baseball; Zach Chappell, baseball; Manny Chavarria, baseball; Ethan Crout, baseball; Rysheed Corbin, men’s basketball; Tim Dal Bon, men’s basketball; Felix Dieguez, baseball; Zach Featherstone, baseball; Ross Gardner, baseball; Chase Hahnemann, baseball; Rashad Lewis, men’s basketball; Brooke Marendino, softball; Josh Nothdorft, baseball; Jahvaughn Powell, men’s basketball; Kyle Taddeo, baseball; Ryan Terry, baseball; Eboni Watts, women’s basketball; Mac Wilson, baseball.

All-academic honors for 2015-16 will be announced by the NJCAA, FCSAA and Panhandle Conference beginning next week.
