Twenty-six student-athletes earn summer academic accolades at TCC

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (August 19, 2015) - During the recently completed Summer 2015 semester at Tallahassee Community College, a total of 26 student-athletes earned honors recognition for their work in the classroom.  

The following student-athlete was named to the President’s List (4.0 GPA): Taesha DuBoise, softball. 

The following student-athletes were named to the Dean's List (3.5-3.99 GPA): Jonathan Burkett, baseball; Jahvaughn Powell, men’s basketball; Gina Cerezuela Robuste, women’s basketball. 

The following student-athletes were named to the Honor’s List (3.0-3.49 GPA): Stavian Allen, men’s basketball; Karley Barnes, women’s basketball; Deion Bute, men’s basketball; Ethan Crout, baseball; Dustin Dye, baseball; Jeremica Edwards, women’s basketball; Robert Henderson, baseball; Tyler Kinard, baseball; Rashad Lewis, men’s basketball; Benedicta Makakala, women’s basketball; Brooke Marendino, softball; Thomas Nicoll, baseball; Eric Nottage, men’s basketball; Matt Olive, baseball; Marija Pacar, women’s basketball; Danielle Patterson, softball; Kyle Pausche, baseball; Daishon Smith, men’s basketball; Brianna Tourtillott, softball; Geremy Walton, baseball; Eboni Watts, women’s basketball. 

The following student-athlete received Merit Recognition (students who are in developmental courses and complete a minimum of six hours with a 3.0-3.99 GPA): Darius Alexander, men’s basketball.
