#BirdGang climbs to No. 2 in FCSAA Coaches’ Poll

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (February 12, 2014) – The Florida College System Activities Association (FCSAA) released its first regular season Baseball Coaches’ Poll on Tuesday and Tallahassee Community College made a move up the rankings. 

The Eagles, off to a 9-0 start, jumped to No. 2, up two spots from their No. 4 preseason rankings. Tallahassee received six first-place votes and 189 points in the voting. 

State College of Florida, the preseason No. 1 team in the FCSAA, held on to the top spot in the rankings. 

Chipola College is ranked third, followed by the College of Central Florida, Polk State College, Gulf Coast State College, St. Johns River State College, St. Petersburg College, Palm Beach State College and Hillsborough Community College. 

In the softball rankings, Tallahassee is not ranked but did receive votes.
