Eagle women climb to No. 7 in FCSAA Coaches’ Poll

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (February 19, 2014) – Tallahassee Community College’s women’s basketball team continued its back-and-forth movement in the bottom half of the FCSAA Women’s Basketball Coaches’ Poll, this week moving up one spot to No. 7. 

The Eagles are one spot ahead of another Panhandle Conference rival, Pensacola State College, who checked in at No. 8. Indian River State College and Santa Fe College round out the top ten. 

At the top of the poll, Chipola College and Northwest Florida State College continue to sit 1-2, respectively. St. Petersburg College continued its late season surge, jumping to No. 3 and knocking Gulf Coast State College down one spot to No. 4. 

Florida State College at Jacksonville and Palm Beach State College are ranked No. 5 and No. 6, respectively. 

Tallahassee received votes in the men’s poll but did not earn a top ten ranking.
