On the women’s side, Tallahassee checked in at No. 5 in the FCSAA preseason rankings.

Florida State College at Jacksonville, Pensacola State, Santa Fe, Hillsborough Community College and Palm Beach State College are ranked five through ten in the women’s poll.

Monday also marked the release of the NJCAA women’s basketball preseason polls. Tallahassee did not earn a preseason ranking, but its schedule will provide numerous opportunities to jump into the national picture.

Five of the Eagles’ opponents landed in the NJCAA poll – No. 4 Chipola, No. 7 Northwest Florida State, No. 10 Darton (Ga.) State College, No. 11 Walters State (Tenn.) Community College and No. 22 Florida State College at Jacksonville.
