Twenty-seven student-athletes earn fall academic accolades at TCC

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (January 27, 2014) - During the recently completed Fall 2013 semester at Tallahassee Community College, a total of 27 student-athletes earned honors recognition for their work in the classroom.

The following student-athletes were named to the President’s List (4.0 GPA): Christian Dicks, baseball; Logan Elliot, baseball; Shelby Manns, softball; and Collin Strall, baseball. 

The following student-athletes were named to the Dean's List (3.5-3.99 GPA): Johnny Blue Craig, baseball; Alexis Huss, softball; Dillon Jayne, baseball; Chad Mabini, baseball; Mariah Rivera, softball; and Karley Yeager, softball. 

The following student-athletes were named to the Honor’s List (3.0-3.49 GPA): Brenna Courtemanche, softball; Cameron Dozier, men’s basketball; Shaun Herbert, baseball; Riley Hodge, baseball; Te Reo Powhiri Matautia, softball; Connor O’Brien, baseball; Kyle Pausche, baseball; Richard Peters, men’s basketball; Jasmine Queen, women’s basketball; Cameron Smith, men’s basketball; and Will Thompson, baseball. 

The following student-athletes received Merit Recognition (students who are in developmental courses and complete a minimum of six hours with a minimum 3.0 GPA): Taesha DuBoise, softball; Benedicta Makakala, women’s basketball; Matt Olive, baseball; Danielle Patterson, softball; Teleshia Riley, women’s basketball; and Cheick Thiero, men’s basketball.
