TCC Athletics hosts Mid-Day Madness on Wednesday

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (October 14, 2014) - Tallahassee Community College Athletics will host its second annual Mid-Day Madness event at 1 p.m., Wednesday, October 15 in the Bill Hebrock Eagledome. 

The event is free and open to the public. 

During Mid-Day Madness, all of the Eagles' athletic teams - men's basketball, women's basketball, softball and baseball – will be introduced to the campus community. 

Players from each of the Eagles' teams will compete in a two-ball contest - men's basketball and softball players will form teams, as will women's basketball and baseball players.  

The men's basketball team will also thrill the crowd with a dunk contest. 

TCC faculty and staff will participate in a celebrity free throw contest and two students will be selected for a chance to win a book scholarship worth up to $250.
