TCC Baseball, Softball washed out

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (February 22, 2013) – For the second time this week, Tallahassee Community College's baseball and softball games have been postponed due to rain. 

The baseball team was scheduled to host Santa Fe College for a doubleheader beginning at 3:30 p.m. while softball was slated for a twin bill against State College of Florida beginning at 5 p.m. 

Neither date will be rescheduled. 

Both teams previously had home games washed out on Tuesday and rain has also forced the postponement of Saturday's home softball games against Darton (Ga.) State College, originally scheduled for start times of 1 and 3 p.m. 

The Tallahassee-Darton State contest will be made up Sunday, March 10 with a doubleheader beginning at 1 p.m. 

In other scheduling updates, Tallahassee's baseball team has added a second game against the Thomas (Ga.) University JV squad on Friday, March 1. The doubleheader is still scheduled to begin at 3 p.m. 

Both teams are scheduled to return to action on Tuesday, February 26, weather permitting. 

The baseball team will host Shelton State (Ala.) Community College at 3:30 p.m. while softball will welcome Santa Fe College for a doubleheader beginning at 4 p.m.
