Eagles welcome Shelton State for three-game set

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (February 13, 2015) – While NCAA teams are opening their 2015 season this weekend, Tallahassee Community College will approach the ¼ pole when Shelton (Ala.) State Community College visits Eagle Field for a three-game series. 

Game times are 4 p.m. Friday, 2 p.m. Saturday and 1 p.m. Sunday. Admission is free. 

Tallahassee is 5-5 and will try to rebound from a 14-4 loss at Santa Fe College on Wednesday. The team is currently batting .281 led by Cody Fulton's .435 average. 

Shelton State is currently 1-3 but comes to town off a win against nationally-ranked Columbia (Tenn.) State Community College on Sunday. The Buccaneers are currently led offensively by sophomore Blake Smith who is batting .667. 

The Eagles will try to extend their undefeated home record, having won their first three games at Eagle Field.
