DOUGLAS, Ga. (January 31, 2018) – Tallahassee Community College's baseball team improved to 3-2 on the season with Wednesday's 12-6 win at South Georgia State College.
With less than 24 hours to rebound from Tuesday's 8-7 loss at Santa Fe College, the Eagles got back to work and opened the home-and-home series with the Hawks (0-3) on a positive note.
Freshman Logan Lacey (2-0) picked up his second win with 5.1 no-hit innings in relief of starter Vladimir Zavala and Derick Garcia. Lacey walked three and struck out nine.
Alex Mills and Cole Vann both went 2-for-5 to pace the Eagles offensively. Mills drove in five runs while Vann had three RBI.
