Stepping Stones: Brandon Reitz, North Florida
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (July 20, 2018) – Tallahassee Community College baseball standout Brandon Reitz has signed a national letter of intent with the University of North Florida.
Reitz, a native of Ocala, Fla., transferred to Tallahassee after playing his freshman season at neighboring Florida State University in 2017.
With the Eagles in 2018, Reitz appeared in 16 games (14 starts) and compiled a record of 4-4 and 5.54 ERA while striking out 68 batters in 65.0 innings.
Reitz was also a standout in the classroom, earning All-Academic honors from both the FCSAA and Panhandle Conference.
Located in Jacksonville, Fla., the NCAA Division I Ospreys compete in the Atlantic Sun Conference.
