#TCCBaseball: Lomack, Abinsay, Lehrmann lead All-PC picks

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (May 3, 2019) – Six players, including three first-team selections, represented Tallahassee Community College on the All-Panhandle Conference baseball teams, as voted upon by the league's coaches. 

Sophomores Taylor Lomack and Tyler Lehrmann, along with freshman Ridge Abinsay, garnered first-team honors while sophomore Chase Forester and freshmen Cyrus Grimes and Trent Jeffcoat made the second-team. 

Lomack, a centerfielder from Atlanta, Ga., played in 51 games and led the Eagles in batting average (.378), on-base percentage (.443), runs (42), hits (70), doubles (12), RBI (36) and stolen bases (29). His .454 slugging percentage was second on the team. Lomack was also voted the No. 9 player overall in the PC. 

Lehrmann, a left-handed pitcher from Tallahassee, led the team in wins, finishing 7-5, and posted a team-best three saves. He also recorded team-highs in innings pitched (60.1) and strikeouts (66) while finishing with a 3.28 ERA. 

Abinsay, a native of Jacksonville, Fla., appeared in 51 games at first base, third base and catcher. He batted .341 with 34 runs scored and 25 RBI. 

Forester, who hails from Crawfordville, Fla., saw action both in the field and on the mound. He played in 49 games total, posting a .295 batting average and 11 RBI at the plate and a record of 5-2 and two saves on the bump. His 3.27 ERA was tops on the pitching staff. 

Grimes, a freshman from Navarre, Fla., appeared in 35 games, primariliy either in the outfield or at first base. He batted .343 with five home runs and 31 RBI. 

Jeffcoat, a native of Pensacola, Fla., played in 45 games, primarily at second base, and batted .285 with 16 RBI and 12 stolen bases.
