North Florida Baseball Showcase returns to TCC September 28

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (August 8, 2019) – The annual North Florida Baseball Showcase will take place at Tallahassee Community College's Eagle Field, Saturday, September 28. 

For more than two decades, the Showcase has been recognized as one of the best recruiting opportunities for high school baseball players. While being evaluated by numerous college and professional scouts, participants will receive the exposure needed to play at the next level.  

Past participants in the North Florida Baseball Showcase include current Milwaukee Brewers outfielder and two-time All-Star Lorenzo Cain, former Atlanta Braves outfielder Brandon Jones and 2004 NJCAA Division I Baseball Player of the Year A.J. Johnson, all of whom also played collegiately at TCC.  

Rising high school sophomores (Class of 2022), juniors (2021) and seniors (2020) are eligible to participate and registration is limited to the first 150 participants on a first-come basis. The registration deadline is Thursday, September 26. 

Cost is $110. 

Check-in is at 8:15 a.m. and skill evaluations begin at 9 a.m.  

Participants should come dressed in baseball pants and bring their own equipment, including catching gear and helmets.  

The Showcase will take place rain or shine. However, in the event of tropical weather, the Showcase will take place Sunday, September 29.
