Stepping Stones: Andrew Shivak, Slippery Rock

TALLAHASSEE, FLA. (August 15, 2019)—Tallahassee Community College baseball standout Andrew Shivak has signed a national letter of intent with Slippery Rock University.
Shivak, who is from Naples, Fla., transferred to Tallahassee in 2018 after playing his freshman season at Youngstown State University.
The six-foot right-handed pitcher appeared in nine games in 2019 and finished with a 2-4 record, 4.58 ERA and 21 strikeouts in 19.2 innings.
Shivak earned all-academic honors from both the FCSAA and Panhandle Conference in 2019.
Located in Slippery Rock, Pa., the NCAA Division II program competes in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference.
