Twenty student-athletes earn spring academic accolades at TCC

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (June 3, 2013) - During the recently completed Spring 2013 semester at Tallahassee Community College, a total of 20 student-athletes earned honors recognition for their work in the classroom. 

The following student-athletes were named to the President's List (4.0 GPA): Michael Saxton, men's basketball. 

The following student-athletes were named to the Dean's List (3.5-3.99 GPA): Matt Bahnick, baseball; Jarrod Batson, men's basketball; Ethan Bornstein, baseball; Victor Cole, baseball; Nick Graganella, baseball; Alexis Huss, softball; Chad Mabini, baseball; Tammy McMillan, softball; and Patrick Riley, baseball. 

The following student-athletes were named to the Honor's List (3.0-3.49 GPA): Nick Baker, baseball; Krista Garcia, softball; Tyeshia Guinnie, women's basketball; Bianca Gutierrez, softball; Cherise McEnery, softball; Dan VanSickle, baseball; and Brittany Wright, softball. 

The following student-athletes received Merit Recognition (students who are in developmental courses and complete a minimum of six hours with a minimum 3.0 GPA): Robert Garcia, baseball; Krysta Hoani, softball; and Te Reo Powhiri Matautia, softball.
