Eagles ranked No. 14 in first national poll

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (December 2, 2014) - In the first NJCAA National Top 25 Poll of the regular season, Tallahassee Community College's men's basketball team debuted at No. 14. Tallahassee enters the poll after beginning the season unranked.

The Eagles find themselves in the national rankings for the first time since the 2013-14 preseason poll, when they were ranked No. 23.  This is also the highest Tallahassee has been ranked in the NJCAA poll since February 9, 2012, when it was ranked No. 12.

Tallahassee is currently 9-1 on the season with their only loss coming against Southwest Tennessee Community College who climbed one spot to No. 10.

The Eagles will be back in action for the Applebee's Men's Classic on December 5 and 6.  The field will include Faulkner State (Ala.) Community College, TAAG (Fla.) Academy, and Panhandle Conference foe and nationally-ranked Northwest Florida State College, who is No. 3 in the NJCAA poll.
