TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (February 12, 2016) – Tallahassee Community College's men's and women's basketball teams will play their final home games of the 2015-16 season on Saturday evening when arch-rival Chipola College visits for a doubleheader.

The women's game will tip off at 5:30 p.m. while the men's contest is scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m. TCC will recognize both teams' sophomores immediately following the conclusion of the women's game.

Both games can be seen live online at TCCeagles.com

General admission is $5. TCC students, faculty and staff receive free admission with a valid TCC ID.

In both games, postseason implications run rampant for Tallahassee.

For the Eagle women, they enter Saturday with a narrow half-game lead over Northwest Florida State College for the Panhandle Conference's third and final postseason berth.

Tallahassee is assured of playing for something – a chance to claim third place outright, force a third-place tie and a subsequent playoff or even use the game as a tune-up for the postseason – when it travels to Northwest Florida State in next Saturday's regular season finale. And while the Eagles can't clinch anything by defeating the Indians, it would keep the pressure on the Raiders, who host PC-leading Gulf Coast State College on Saturday then travel to Chipola on Tuesday.

Gulf Coast State and Chipola have already locked up postseason berths and are battling to determine the PC's Nos. 1 and 2 seeds.

Meanwhile, in Saturday's men's game, Tallahassee is again in position to clinch a postseason berth and can do so with a win or a Gulf Coast State loss at Northwest Florida State.

The Eagles let a 17-point, second half lead slip away on Wednesday at Gulf Coast State, eventually falling 100-97 in overtime. Despite losing, Tallahassee maintained its half-game lead atop the PC standings when Pensacola State College upset Northwest Florida State.

As a result, Gulf Coast State avoided elimination, as did Chipola, who trails the second-place Raiders by three games with three to play.

If Tallahassee and Northwest Florida State both win on Saturday, they will advance to the postseason then decide the conference championship race in next weekend's finale. If either or both lose, a number of scenarios – including a three-way tie for first place – remain in play.

Tallahassee is looking to close out a perfect season at the Bill Hebrock Eagledome, where the Eagles are 11-0 in Mark White's debut season as head coach.
