#TCCBasketball: Eagle men cruise past Albany Tech for fourth win

ALBANY, Ga. (November 8, 2016) – Tallahassee Community College improved to 4-0 with an 85-59 win over Albany (Ga.) Technical College on Tuesday evening. 

Earlier in the day on Tuesday, Tallahassee moved up one spot to No. 3 in the first regular season NJCAA Region 8 Men's Basketball Coaches' Poll. The Eagles promptly took the floor and played like a top three team against the host Titans. 

Tallahassee put the game out of reach with a dominating first half performance on both ends of the floor. 

The Eagles knocked down 18-of-36 field goal attempts and limited the Titans to just 19.4 percent (6-of-31) shooting. The result: a 48-21 lead at the intermission. 

Tallahassee shot 49.3 percent (33-of-67) from the floor for the game, including 52.9 percent (9-of-17) from the three-point line while holding Albany Tech under 30.0 percent shooting – 29.4 percent (20-of-68) to be exact. 

Jeremy Hayes led four Tallahassee players in double-figures with 15 points. David Simmons scored 12 while Kiair Crouch added 11 and Deion Bute, 10. 

Tallahassee will take a week off before hosting Santa Fe College on November 15 at 7:30 p.m.
