TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (December 1, 2016) – Tallahassee Community College's men's basketball team improved to 10-0 with a 90-60 win over Albany (Ga.) Technical College on Thursday evening at the Bill Hebrock Eagledome.
The Eagles are 10-0 for the first time since the 2000-01 season.
Tonight, the Eagles found their shooting touch from long distance, knocking down 15-of-31 three-pointers overall. They hit 10-of-18 behind the arc in the first half en route to a 50-25 lead.
After the intermission, Tallahassee hit 16-of-29 shots overall, eventually stretching its lead to as many as 39 points. The Eagles shot 50.7 percent (34-of-67) for the game and outrebounded the Titans, 39-26.
David Simmons led four players in double-figures for Tallahassee with 15 points. Tre Todd, Jacob Winston and Ronald Bell all reached double-figures off the bench, scoring 13, 11 and 10 points, respectively.
The Eagles will travel to St. Petersburg College on Saturday for a 4 p.m. tip with the Titans.
