#TCCBasketball: Eagle men hold off Albany Tech, improve to 3-0

ALBANY, Ga. (November 13, 2017) – Tallahassee Community College's men's basketball team finally resumed its schedule on Monday and picked up a 72-63 win at Albany (Ga.) Technical College.

The Eagles, now 3-0 on the young season, had not played since November 4. The break was extended a couple extra days when Saturday's home opener vs. South Georgia Technical College was postponed due to unsafe floor conditions inside the Bill Hebrock Eagledome.

Tallahassee got off to a slow start on Monday, falling behind by as many as eight points (12-4) early on. The Eagles, however, closed the first half on a 33-16 run and led 37-28 at the intermission.

The teams played a 35-35 draw in the second half.

Chris Agbo finished one rebound shy of a double-double, recording 19 points on 8-of-9 shooting from the floor.

Jacob Winston scored 12 while Trevor Lewis and JaQuan Morris had 10 points each to give Tallahassee four players in double-figures.

The Eagles will travel to Daytona State College on Wednesday. Tip-off has been officially announced as 7 p.m.

Tallahassee will play its home opener at 4 p.m. Saturday against St. Petersburg College.
