Eagle men host Seals Financial Tip-off Classic November 10-11

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (November 9, 2017) - Tallahassee Community College's men's basketball team will host the Seals Financial Tip-off Classic on Friday and Saturday, November 10 and 11 at the Bill Hebrock Eagledome.

In addition to the host Eagles, the event will feature 2017 NJCAA Runners-up Eastern Florida State College and South Georgia Technical College. 

The first game of the Classic will tip at 4 p.m. Friday when Eastern Florida State plays South Georgia Tech. Game two gets underway at noon Saturday when Tallahassee plays its home opener against South Georgia Tech. 

Tallahassee opened its 2017-18 season with two wins at the First Midwest Bank Classic, hosted by Three Rivers (Mo.) College. The Eagles knocked off the host Raiders (80-65) as well as Mineral Area (Mo.) College (73-58). As a result, Tallahassee climbed two spots to No. 2 in this week's NJCAA Region 8 Men's Basketball Coaches' Poll. 

The Eagles are currently ranked No. 13 in the NJCAA Division I Men's Basketball Poll.

Admission both days is free.
