TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (November 22, 2017) – Tallahassee Community College head men's basketball coach Mark White was named HoopDirt.com's JUCO Coach of the Week on Monday.

The weekly award program, presented by Just Play Solutions, recognizes a men's coach from all three levels of NCAA, as well as NAIA and junior college, for his team's work during the previous week.

White and the Eagles picked up three wins last week to remain undefeated. The first two wins came on the road – a 72-63 victory at Albany Tech and a 73-70 triumph at Daytona State College, courtesy of Quentin Jackson's buzzer-beating three-pointer.

In its first home game of the season on Saturday, Tallahassee rolled past defending FCSAA State Champion St. Petersburg College 95-60 to improve to 5-0 for the second time in White's three seasons as head coach and fourth time in five seasons overall.

White is now eligible to receive the HoopDirt.com National Coach of the Year Award which will be announced at the conclusion of the 2017-18 season.
