ALBANY, Ga. (November 14, 2018) – Richard Washington scored 26 points and pulled down 10 rebounds to lead Region 8 No. 5 Tallahassee Community College to an 86-51 win at Albany (Ga.) Technical College.
The Eagles are now 5-0 for the third straight season under head coach Mark White.
Washington's double-double led a quartet of Eagles who scored in double-figures. Jalen Dalcourt had 18 and Eric Boone and Deven Palmer scored 12 points each.
Tallahassee built a 38-28 at the intermission then came out red hot in the second half. The Eagles shot 57.7 percent (15-of-26) after the break, outscoring the Titans 48-23, to pull away.
The Eagles will head back to the Peach State for a pair of weekend games at the Jets Classic, hosted by South Georgia Technical College.
Tallahassee will play Gordon (Ga.) State College at 5:30 p.m. Friday and South Georgia Tech at 3 p.m. Saturday.
