PANAMA CITY, Fla. (January 23, 2019) – NJCAA No. 16/Region 8 No. 4 Tallahassee Community College hit 14 three-pointers in a 90-71 win at Gulf Coast State College on Wednesday evening.

It marked the first time since 2001 that the Eagles have played consecutive road games in Panhandle Conference play and won both. Tallahassee (19-3), who won at Pensacola State College on Saturday, is 3-2 in league play heading into Saturday's home date with Chipola College.

Richard Washington and Mustafa Lawrence hit four three-pointers each on their way to 24 and 18 points, respectively.

Deven Palmer added three more triples and finished with 16 points. Jalen Dalcourt hit the remaining three, which accounted for all nine of his points.

Natorian Tyson reached double-figures with 11.

Tallahassee jumped on the Commodores right out of the gate, leading 16-4 less than seven minutes in. By the 7:00 mark, the Eagles had doubled up Gulf Coast State 26-13.

Lawrence blew the game open singlehandedly, knocking down three straight three-pointers to give Tallahassee a 39-16 lead, and the Eagles led 42-19 at the half.

The shots kept falling for the Eagles after the intermission. Palmer's three-pointer pushed the margin to 60-31 with 14:17 left in the game, and Tallahassee cruised from there.

Saturday's game with Chipola will tip off at 7:30 p.m.
