Stepping Stones: Deven Palmer, North Carolina Central

TALLAHASSEE, FLA. (July 19, 2019)—Tallahassee Community College men's basketball standout Deven Palmer has signed a national letter of intent with North Carolina Central University. 

Palmer, who is from Hyde Park, Mass., transferred to TCC from Quincy College, where he was a NJCAA Division III All-American as a freshman in 2017-18. With the Eagles, Palmer delivered another solid season, averaging 13.1 points and 4.5 rebounds as a sophomore. 

For his efforts, Palmer was named Second-team All-Panhandle Conference in 2019. 

Located in Durham, N.C., the NCAA Division I Eagles compete in the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference.
