Stepping Stones: Benly Olizia, Bemidji State

This is the eleventh installment in TCC Athletics' 2019 Stepping Stones series

TALLAHASSEE, FLA. (August 16, 2019)—Tallahassee Community College men's basketball standout Benly Olizia has signed a national letter of intent with Bemidji State University.

Olizia, a 6-foot-3 guard from Orlando, Fla., played in 21 games as a freshman during the 2018-19 season. He averaged 4.2 points, 2.0 rebounds and 0.8 assists while shooting 50.7 percent from the floor. 

In the classroom, Olizia earned all-academic honors from the Panhandle Conference. 

Located in Bemidji, Minn., the NCAA Division II Beavers compete in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference. Olizia will have three years of eligibility remaining.
