Gholston, Eagles rout Enterprise State

MARIANNA, Fla. (November 8, 2019) – DeAndre Gholston scored a game-high 27 points and four other players joined him in double-figures for NJCAA No. 16/Region 8 No. 5 Tallahassee Community College in Friday's 102-64 win over Enterprise (Ala.) State Community College at the Panhandle Classic, hosted by Chipola College. 

Tallahassee is now 2-0 on the season heading into Saturday's 4 p.m. game at the Classic against Spartanburg (S.C.) Methodist College. 

Gholston hit 11-of-14 field goal attempts, including three of the Eagles' 16 three-pointers. 

Tariq Silver hit four threes and finished with 12 points. El Ellis and Kailex Stephens scored 11 points each. Jordan Guest had 10. 

A fast start yielded a 52.9 percent (18-of-34) clip from the floor in the first half and a 53-25 lead at the intermission. 

The Eagles finished 36-of-74 (48.6 percent) for the game and 16-of-34 (47.1 percent) from beyond the arc.
