2020: Made his Tallahassee debut at the Alligator Lake Invitational (9/18/20) and ran an 18:10.1 on the 5K course, finishing 16th overall...set the school record for the 8K with a 27:52.9 at the FSU Invitational (10/2/20), earning...finished first at the TCC Eagle Invite (10/17/20)...with a time of 28:41, which earned him NJCAA Region 8 Men's Runner of the Week honors...placed 14th at the FCSAA Championships (10/30/20)...with a time of 28:19.4...posted a 28:31.42 at the NJCAA Championships (11/14/20), good for 62nd overall.

2019: Ran his freshman season at the University of North Carolina Pembroke...was a teammate of current Eagle Will Stratton...made his collegiate debut at the Trevecca D2 Showcase (9/28/19) and posted a time of 27:23.3 in the 8K...ran a season-best time of 25:37.1 at the Royals Challenge (10/11/19)...helped UNCP to a third-place finish at the Peach Belt Conference Championships (10/26/19) with a time of 27:18.71...ran his first 10K of the season at the NCAA Southeast Region Championship (11/9/19) and posted a 34:25.7.

High School: Prepped at Northeast High School for coach Steve Wilcox...earned recognition as the city, county, and regional champion during cross country...also saw success for the track team earning titles in the 800-meter run and 1600-meter run...also played basketball in high school...named defensive player of the year.

Personal: The son of Kristin and Ed Maier...has two older brothers, EJ and Bradley...maintained a 3.96 grade point average at Northeast High School...a member of the National Honor Society and Mu Alpha Theta...lists his favorite movie is Grownups and favorite artists as Post Malone...enjoys eating tacos...a business finance major.
