Rutledge named NJCAA Region 8 Men's XC Runner of the Week

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (August 31, 2021) - Tallahassee Community College's Leo Rutledge has been named the NJCAA Region 8 Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week.

Rutledge, a freshman from Tallahassee and graduate of Maclay School, made his collegiate debut at last weekend's TCC XC Open. 

The event was also Rutledge's first-ever 8K event and he was the top collegiate runner and placed second overall with a time of 28:52.61. 

Rutledge and his teammates scored a head-to-head win over the University of Florida's running club in the team standings.
