Tallahassee ends season ranked No. 5 in NJCAA softball poll
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (April 23, 2014) – The NJCAA released its final poll of the 2014 season on Wednesday and Tallahassee Community College ended the regular season with a No. 5 ranking.
At No. 5, the Eagles matched the 2012 squad for the highest season-ending ranking in the NJCAA poll.
Tallahassee swapped spots with No. 6 Chattanooga (Tenn.) State Community College.
Indian River State College and Arizona Western College remained No. 1 and No. 2, respectively, while No. 3 McLennan (Texas) Community College and No. 4 College of Southern Idaho swapped spots.
Indian River State and Tallahassee ranked 1-2 in the FCSAA Softball Coaches' Poll.
Rounding out the top ten is No. 7 Butler (Kan.) Community College, followed by Galveston (Texas) College, Eastern Arizona College and FCSAA member Polk State College.
