TCC Softball: Opening Day rained out in Clearwater

CLEARWATER, Fla. (January 31, 2014) - Tallahassee Community College will have to wait one more day to open its 2014 softball season. 

Torrential rains forced a cancellation of all games scheduled for opening day at the JUCO Kickoff Tournament & Showcase at the Eddie C. Moore Park.

The Eagles were scheduled to play Hillsborough Community College (noon), Polk State College (2 p.m.) and Palm Beach State College (6:20 p.m.). 

According to tournament officials, Saturday games will start at 9 a.m.

Tallahassee is scheduled to play Florida State College at Jacksonville at 11 a.m. and St. Johns River State College at 1:20 p.m.
