#TCCSoftball’s Blair, Cecchetti named First-Team All-PC

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (April 21, 2016) – Tallahassee Community College placed two representatives on the Coaches’ All-Panhandle Conference softball teams.

First baseman Madisen Blair and catcher Elisa Cecchetti were named to the 17-player first-team squad.

Blair, a freshman from Jacksonville, Fla., appeared in all 42 regular season games and led the Eagles in almost every offensive category - .396 average, 53 hits, eight doubles, three triples, five home runs, 30 RBIs, .417 on-base percentage and .612 slugging percentage.

Cecchetti, a freshman from Bollate, Italy, played in 41 games and also saw some spot duty at shortstop. She batted .298 with 20 runs scored, three doubles, two triples and 18 RBIs.

Tallahassee has advanced to the NJCAA District/FCSAA State Softball Tournament in Vero Beach, Fla., April 29-May 1.
