Stepping Stones: Jaycee Thomas, Valdosta State

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (July 19, 2018) – Tallahassee Community College softball standout Jaycee Thomas has signed a national letter of intent with Valdosta State University. 

Thomas, a native of Bell, Fla., played in 46 games in 2018 for head coach Patti Townsend's Eagles and batted .273 with eight RBI and 14 stolen bases. 

Thomas enrolled at TCC having already earned an associate of arts degree while dual-enrolled at Trenton High School and will have three years of eligibility remaining with the Blazers. She was named All-Academic by the Panhandle Conference in 2018 and made the College's Honors List in both the Fall 2017 and Spring 2018 terms.

Valdosta State, a Division II program, competes as a member of the Gulf South Conference.
