Guinnie leads a trio of 20-point scorers in Lady Eagles' rout of CGT

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (November 3, 2012) - Former Rickards High School standout Tyeshia Guinnie hit six three-pointers and finished with a game-high 24 points to lead FCSAA No. 4 Tallahassee Community College to an easy 87-57 win over Central Georgia Technical College in Saturday action at the Tallahassee Democrat Tip-off Classic.

Guinnie hit 6-of-8 field goal attempts, all three-pointer, and was a perfect 6-of-6 from the free throw line to lead a trio of 20-point scorers. Jeraldine Campbell and Addesha Collins added 21 points each. Collins played all 40 minutes on Saturday due to the absence of starting point guard Sarah Williams, who suffered a sprained ankle in Friday's season opener.

After scoring 49 points in the first 20 minutes of Friday's win over Albany (Ga.) Technical College, the Lady Eagles enjoyed another big first half on Saturday, jumping out to a 46-29 lead at the intermission.

Alexis Grant also finished in double-figures for Tallahassee with 14 points.

The Lady Eagles will return to action on Thursday at the Collegiate Girls Basketball Report Classic, held in Marianna, Fla., with a 6 p.m. eastern date against Santa Fe College.
