OCALA, Fla. (November 16, 2012) - FCSAA No. 8 Daytona State College handed NJCAA No. 12/FCSAA No. 3 Tallahassee Community College its first loss of the 2012-13 season on Friday evening, defeating the Lady Eagles, 60-58, at the CF Shootout, an event hosted by the College of Central Florida.
Jeraldine Campbell led a trio of players in double-figures with 17 points. Aariel Allen, seeing her first action since suffering a concussion on November 3, added 16, and Addesha Collins chipped in 10.
Tallahassee (4-1) will try to get back on the winning track on Saturday when it plays FCSAA No. 7 Santa Fe College at 4 p.m. The Lady Eagles defeated Santa Fe, 69-60, in Marianna, Fla., on November 8.
