TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (July 18, 2012) –Student-athletes at Tallahassee Community College received more academic honors on Wednesday as 12 Eagles were named to the Florida College System Activities Association's (FCSAA) All-Academic Team for the 2011-12 academic year.
Eight baseball players, two from men's basketball and one each from softball and women's basketball made up Tallahassee's FCSAA all-academic squad, all of whom previously earned all-academic honors from the Panhandle Conference.
Four of the FCSAA recipients – Matt Duval (baseball), Matt Heckroth (baseball), Megan Oster (softball) and Graham Saiko (baseball) – were previously recognized by the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) for their academic achievements.

This marked the second straight year that Duval, Oster and Jared Romero (baseball) earned all-academic honors from the FCSAA. Heckroth, who missed the 2011 season, earned all-academic honors from the FCSAA in 2010.
