TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (June 19, 2013) - Tallahassee Community College will formally introduce Franqua Bedell as its new head women's basketball coach during a press conference at 11:30 a.m., Thursday, June 20 in the Bill Hebrock Eagledome. 

The press conference will be streamed live on NJCAA TV powered by iHigh.

Bedell was named head coach at Tallahassee on June 6; his first official day on the job will be Friday, June 21. 

Most recently, Bedell was an assistant coach on Marlene Stollings' staff at Virginia Commonwealth University.

Bedell is just the third head coach in Tallahassee's 20-year history, following Jan Piatnik (1994-97) and Teresa Atkinson (1997-2013).
