Eagle women hit the road for Pensacola State Classic

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (December 13, 2013) – With final exams in the rearview mirror, Tallahassee Community College's women's basketball team will resume play on Friday evening at the Pensacola State College Classic.
Tallahassee will play a pair of Mid-Florida Conference opponents beginning with Friday's 6:30 p.m. eastern game against Florida State College at Jacksonville. The Eagles will play the College of Central Florida at 1 p.m. eastern Saturday.
Both games will be carried by Panhandle Sports Broadcasting.
On Friday, FCSAA No. 9 Tallahassee (6-6) will be looking to avoid a three-game season sweep at the hands of the No. 4 Blue Wave (8-4), who is also ranked 12th nationally.
Florida State College defeated the Eagles, 63-58, in Tallahassee on November 11 and 62-51 in Jacksonville on December 3.
Saturday's game will be the Eagles' first and only scheduled game against the upstart Patriots (8-5), who checked in at No. 8 in this week's FCSAA Women's Basketball Coaches' Poll.
