Collins' 28 not enough for Tallahassee against the Blue Wave

PENSACOLA, Fla. (December 13, 2013) - Addesha Collins scored 28 points but it wasn't enough for FCSAA No. 9 Tallahassee Community College, who dropped a 68-62 decision to No. 4 Florida State College at Jacksonville on day one of the Pensacola State College Classic.

The loss was Tallahassee's third of the season to the Blue Wave and dropped the Eagles' record to 6-7. Florida State College is now 9-4.

Tyeshia Guinnie was the only other Eagle in double-figures with 11 points but all seven players who dressed got into the scorebook for Tallahassee.

Aariel Allen and Teleshia Riley scored seven points each, Jasmine Queen added four, Marija Pacar netted three and Benedicta Makakala chipped in with two.

Tallahassee trailed 35-30 at the half.

The Eagles will continue play in Pensacola on Saturday with a 1 p.m. eastern tilt against the College of Central Florida, who dropped a 66-51 decision to Northwest Florida State College in Friday's first game of the Classic.
