Tallahassee suffers last-second loss at Daytona State

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (December 15, 2014) – FCSAA No. 7 Daytona State College erased an 11-point, second-half deficit and rallied in the closing seconds to defeat NJCAA No. 14/FCSAA No. 5 Tallahassee Community College 70-67 on Monday evening.

Tallahassee is now 11-3 heading into its final two games before the holiday break.

The Eagles led 36-34 at the half and extended their lead to 11 less than five minutes into the second half before the host Falcons slowly chipped away.

Daytona State helped its cause by forcing 25 turnovers which it converted into 25 points.
