Eagles down Miami Dade to finish tourney 2-0

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (December 13, 2014) – Eleven different players scored for NJCAA No. 14/FCSAA No. 5 Tallahassee Community College in a 64-54 win over FCSAA No. 10 Miami Dade College on Saturday in day two of the SPC Lady Titan Tourney. 

Tallahassee, who knocked off host St. Petersburg College Friday night, finished the weekend event 2-0 and will carry an 11-2 record into Monday's 5 p.m. tilt at Daytona State College. 

Although none of the 11 who scored reached double-figures, the Eagles received a balanced attacked from top to bottom led by Wendion Bibbins' nine points.

Aryn Tarver, Marija Pacar, Cat Wells and Aiyannah Peal each scored eight.

Bibbins and Pacar also pulled down six rebounds apiece.

Tallahassee led 35-28 at the half then outscored the Sharks 29-2 over the final 20 minutes.
