TCC’s Paris Johnson Jones signs with Virginia Union

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (July 10, 2015) – Tallahassee Community College women’s basketball standout Paris Johnson Jones has signed a national letter of intent with Virginia Union University.   

Johnson Jones, a native of Charlotte, N.C., transferred to Tallahassee for her sophomore season after playing the 2013-14 campaign at the University of South Carolina-Upstate. 

With the Eagles in 2014-15, she played in all 31 games and averaged 3.5 points and 1.9 rebounds while shooting 44.1 percent from the floor.

 Virginia Union, located in Richmond, Va., is an NCAA Division II school who competes in the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association.
