Eagles hit the road for doubleheader at Santa Fe

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (November 16, 2015) – Tallahassee Community College's men's and women's basketball teams will travel to Gainesville, Fla., on Tuesday evening for a doubleheader against Mid-Florida Conference foe Santa Fe College.

The evening begins with women's action at 5:30 p.m., and the men's game will follow 30 minutes after its conclusion.

Both games can be seen online.

For the Tallahassee women, Tuesday signals the start of an extremely busy week on the floor. The matchup with the Saints will be the first of four games in five days for Tallahassee, who returns home to host the Capital Courtyard Classic on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

The NJCAA Region 8 No. 4 Eagles are 3-2 after dropping both games at the Georgia Highlands College Classic over the weekend. Santa Fe enters at 3-3.

In the men's game, No. 5 Tallahassee enters at 5-2 following a split of two weekend games at the Georgia/Florida Shootout. Both of the Eagles' losses have come at the hands of NJCAA No. 10 Georgia Highlands College.

Santa Fe brings a 4-2 record into Tuesday's game.
