#TCCBasketball: Eagles cruise past IMG in home opener

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (November 15, 2017) – Tallahassee Community College's women's basketball team won its home opener in a rout on Wednesday, defeating IMG Academy 122-40 on day two action at the Capital Courtyard Classic. 

The NJCAA No. 7/Region 8 No. 2 Eagles are now 5-0 on the young season. 

Wednesday marked the second straight game the Eagles hit the 120-point mark. They scored a school-record 128 in Saturday's 128-72 win over Vincennes (Ind.) University. 

The game was never in doubt on Wednesday. 

Tallahassee led 41-6 after the first quarter, forcing 26 turnovers in the first ten minutes. The Eagles held a 63-11 lead at the intermission. 

Jas Hill came off the bench and scored 36 points to lead Tallahassee. Nakiah Black posted a double-double – 24 points and 12 steals. 

Ayana Mazyck scored 12 and Jamyra McChristine, 10.
