Stepping Stones: Nesma Khalifa, Cincinnati
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (August 23, 2019)—Tallahassee Community College women's basketball standout Nesma Khalifa has signed a national letter of intent with the University of Cincinnati.
Khalifa, who is from Alexandria, Egypt, played her freshman season at Tallahassee in 2018-19 under former head coach Franqua "Q" Bedell.
In 25 games, Khalifa averaged 2.9 points and 1.8 rebounds while shooting 42.4 percent from the floor, 54.5 percent on three-pointers and 84.2 percent from the free throw line.
Khalifa also excelled in the classroom and was named All-Academic by both the Florida College System Activities Association and the Panhandle Conference.
The NCAA Division I Bearcats complete in the American Athletic Conference.
Khalifa will have three years of eligibility remaining.
