Eagle women improve to 4-1

NICEVILLE, Fla. (November 15, 2019) – Tallahassee Community College fought off a game effort from Denmark (S.C.) Technical College and picked up a 67-56 win on day action at the NWF Classic.

Tallahassee (4-1) never trailed en route to its fourth straight victory since dropping its season opener.

The Eagles' defense produced two single-digit quarters – they led 18-9 after the first quarter and held Denmark Tech to just eight points in the fourth quarter.

Tallahassee held Denmark Tech to just 28.8 percent (21-of-73) shooting from the floor.

Polina Nikulochkina led the Eagles in scoring with 23 points and just missed a triple-double, finishing with 11 rebounds and eight assists.

Kyra Smith joined Nikulochkina in the double-double category, posting 18 points and 13 rebounds. Briana Chambers had 12 points.
